My overall impression of the story was that it was a compelling blend of psychological drama, mystery, and coming-of-age themes, with elements of technology and social media woven into the narrative. Brio McPride faced a deeply personal journey as he grappled with issues of identity, loss, and the search for his father. The introduction of Cognitive Hypnosis-Assisted Narrative Therapy also added an intriguing twist, along with the emotional and heart-touching ending.

I particularly liked the exploration of Brio’s inner journey through Cognitive Hypnosis-Augmented Narrative Therapy. It was fascinating, offering a unique window into his subconscious mind and the complexities of his emotions and experiences. Additionally, the incorporation of technology and social media through the involvement of Zpydr added a modern twist to the narrative, raising thought-provoking questions about the intersection of mental health, technology, and corporate interests. I loved how the story portrayed mental health as realistic, and showed Brio’s chaotic journey throughout.

The story definitely grabbed my attention from the beginning, as the use of chaotic verbs created a frantic opening into Brio’s mind. The addition of interrogatives in the beginning allowed questions to form and anticipation and curiosity to build up as I read further into the story. Though chaotic, the format was not confusing and instead really clear and descriptive.

The intertwining of real-world experiences with therapy narratives blurred the lines between reality and fiction in a disorienting way, which I was not used to, however it still added a new element to the story.

I was fully alert throughout the story. Each chapter had me anticipating what would occur next in Brio’s journey and the unique description through Brio’s perspective kept me on my toes.

It really helped immerse me in the character’s point of view and the dialogue was kept interesting throughout.
